| Godolphon House was the original family home of the Godolphin family, who owned and operated some of the most successful mines in the world in the 1800-1860's. The family was of national and international importance at that time. In the 1975 Godolphon House became famous once again, but this time as the setting of one of the most successful British television adaptations of all time: the BBC's Poldark saga.
Godolphon House is now part of the National Trust and is open to visitors. It is about a 30 minute walk, or 5 minute drive from Little Pengwedna Farm.
